Promoting awareness and standards for Steps To Active Recovery

We at J10:10 are committed to providing our local community where people can come and find hope and freedom from the grips of addiction, compulsive behaviours and destructive habits. We are an approved STAR centre, offering support to people in or affected by addiction.

Who we are

J10:10 Star Recovery

J:10:10 Is a space where we can share our hopes and our dreams, along with sorrows and despairs. Every voice is valued every voice is heard. We run a STAR Life Course for people affected by addiction every Tuesday evening at 7pm. All people with any addiction or destructive habit can come along.

What we do

Our services:
  • STAR Recovery Course
  • 12 Step Meetings
  • Recovery related activities

The STAR Life course gave me space to open up about how bad things had got. I felt safe to be honest & realise I’m not all bad. I’m now 10 months sober & feel I am getting my life back.

We couldn’t run our project without the generous time and support of our team of volunteers.

Through being a STAR Approved centre you will have the opportunity to join our team and upskill in the area of addiction. We have a training programme available for all of our volunteers which includes Welcome Training, First Impressions, Healthy Conversations, Mental Health Awareness and Basic Addiction Awareness.

If you would like to apply to become a volunteer, please get in touch with us using the contact us form below or simply give us a call.

Need support? We are here to help…

People needing support can join our project in many ways. You can contact us yourself or this can be through friends and family
members, statutory organisations such as social workers, social prescribers, GP’s and community health practitioners or charities.

Our main criteria for coming to our project is that you help around addiction or destructive habits, or are a family member, friend or colleague affected by a person’s addiction.

To make an enquiry or to find out more, please complete our enquiry form and one of our team will be in touch to explain more of what we offer.
